So Joe and I are done with the Army - yay! He has been working on the police force for a few months now and really likes the job. I can't say I really like it, but it is what it is! I recently got a job myself and I really like it! I am the Office Administrator at the Methodist Church here in town. I like the people I work with and I like the work that I do!
We finally (after 2 months) got our household goods. We managed to cram most of it into our one bedroom apartment! I am just so glad to have my stuff. I made waffles the morning after we got our stuff, just because I had my waffle iron!!
Joe is working on getting a GED right now because the police academy will not accept his homeshool diploma. He is not too happy with that, especially since it means putting off going to the academy. It is strange that the Army accepted his diploma, but not the police academy.

So glad you got your stuff!!! We have 23 months left in the Army and are counting down every day! I am glad you like your job.... we are busy busy busy as always. And BTW - it doesn't surprise me AT ALL that the Army would accept his homeschool diploma and the police force won't - all you have to do is write your name in a fairly legible manner and the Army will take you!!!! heehee XOXO
